The following is required to complete your application and for CPC-Ottawa to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5688) and permanent residence visa (if a visa is required). STEP 1: CHANGE IN PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES (If none of these conditions applies to you, you may proceed to STEP 2)...................................................................STEP 2: PASSPORT(S), PHOTOS AND BIO DATA REQUEST...

So my details are:

CEC, Inland, NOC 2132, non-LMIA
ITA = 27 March
Applied, First AOR = 29 April
Medical Passed = 13 May
Celpip request, sent = 15 June
BG in progress = 15 June
Schedule A request, sent = 16 June
PPR = 24 July (MyCIC still says BG in progress, final decision not started)

My ecas still says 'Application received'. It has 3 lines from the beginning till now.

I received twice"your application has update..,"The first time I logged in MyCiC is nothing changed, but Ecas is we started your application on July 20,2015, Ecas is in process. Today I received it again, but nothing changed, anyone likes me? ???

I did my landing yesterday at Kingsgate. No questions, done in half an hour. They told me pr card will come in 3 months till it comes I can travel only if I apply for travel document.

things, what I was worried about (and have seen others worried), but then they weren't issue. I hope it helps for some to stress less.
-I've changed my POF what I had in my EE profile to less in my APR application
-the dates in ECAS till today are not right
-Ecas again: application received never changed to be in Process
-didn't get any update email in mycic till ppr
-no documents were required
-never got second AOR
-I was under implied status for more than two months, and received my pr earlier, than my BOWP

I cant be thankful enough for everyone on this forum and I hope all of you reach your dreams

so I cant leave Canada for 3 months? Can i give them a friends address in Canada and get it mailed to the US ? Is that legal?

If I am to stay in Canada and wants to travel outside without the PR card; should I apply for a visitor visa if i want to get back into the country?

weeell the officer told me, if I want to leave the country before getting the pr card I will have to ask for travel document. I was so happy and relieved and not planning to go anywhere before Xmas, that I wasnt even thinking to ask more. I never needed a visa for come and go as Im from a visa exempt country so I dont see why I need to ask for travel document after getting PR. I will try to find something or hopefully someone expert can answer this question.

I found few topics which says if we are from visa-exempt country wont need the travel document and at the entry we can just show our landing paper. here is one of the threads link
