So you don't have to re apply for the visa right? I mean u can get it an extension and a later date's offer letter?

My brother has moved his winter semester to spring semester due to lack of response for the visa. He received his new acceptance letter today.

Should we inform visa office of the new acceptance letter? if yes, how should we do it?
