Thinking of enrolling into trade institution

Hi, any folks here who enrolled in trade institution and managed to be under apprenticeship? I had read up that one can be entitled for PGWP for up for 3 years depending on the length of the program based from CIC. However, it stated that to be under apprenticeship, one must be Canadian citizen/PR and to be employed by employer.

Just wondering if anyone managed to secure the apprenticeship as the PGWP holder ?

Most apprenticeships do require you to be a PR or citizen - which means you wouldn't qualify as a PGWP holder.
