Hello,

The deadline is 30 days before expiry of existing status. (For me that’s 6 months via an ETA).

Does that mean you can mail the forms in on that last day which is exactly 30 days prior to your expiry;

Or does the mailed form need to arrive on or before 30 days prior to expiry.

If you use a courier such as UPS or FedEx is it the same address in Edmonton as if you use Canada Post.

Many thanks.

The 30 days is just a recommendation - not a rule.

The rule is that the extension must be received by IRCC before the expiry of your current status. So if your status expires on March 15, the extension either needs to be submitted online or arrive at IRCC's offices by mail by March 15th.
