Yes it's called intra company transfer. Google it and you will see that it doesn't require LMIA if your affiliated company gives you a job offer in Canada
Interesting.... I thought that LMIA was a must, always, for Express Entry purposes.
What do you need from the companies (Canada branch and your country´s office) and what are the minimum requeriments for the job offer letter in order to be acceptable and obtain the additional 50 points? My husband is currently working for a company that has a branch in Ontario, so this could be a good option to inquire.

Hello Friends,

I have a confusion, I am currently sitting @ CRS 423. But I will receive another 8 points in 6-8 weeks(spouse education) which will make the sum to 431.
I am currently having CLB 9 in IELTS as well which is valid till Dec,2019. Can some one suggest if I can increase my score by any other means(except job offer). Just to mention, i don't have any experience in french, so learning the same might take some time(1 yr approx).
How should I proceed further?

Thanks in advance.
Hi, what are your IELTS results per ability? CLB 9/ each?

I am asking this because if you get CLB 10 you add more points. Your exams are valid until december, so you may have to retake them anyway, and I suggest to retake them at least 3 months before the expiring date.

Yep just a plain job offer. Requirements are all online on the CIC website. It's like a normal job offer only that lmia is waived.

Did you try to Google it? Do the research. I don't have experience with it myself but this is the result of my research.

Guys. Get realistic. It is not so simple. Following are the requirements:

1) You need to get an offer of employment in the Canadian arm of your company

2) your company has to apply for intra-company transfer with CIC.

3) if CIC approves, you will get intra company transfer work permit.

4) Travel to Canada and work in the Canadian arm of your company for 1 year.

5) After 1 year, get a letter from Canadian arm that they will be employing you further for one more year.

After completing all these steps, you will qualify for 50 points in job offer category.

Sorry, I don´t know why I was thinking about this year (2018).

You got same as my husband, almost the maximum. You may gain 6 more points if you succeed to get W10 and S10. It is a difficult decision indeed, retake or not, because you are close to the maximum. But I have read many applicants who retake even 5-6 times until they have CLB 10 in 4.

yes it makes sense perfectly if you consider my case.. i am at 443 without spouse and 428 with spouse. i am planing to understand what are the obligations as a sponsor and the time-frame for it and related issue, in case the cutoff point remains high.

is there any one in here who can explain the spousal sponsorship obligations and the benefits the sponsored family can not access?
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5289-sponsor-your-spouse-common-law-partner-conjugal-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html

You may want to take a look at this link. It explains a lot of things regarding Spouse Sponsorship. Do you have little kids? Because I was reading that public health coverage is not included until you are PR so you might have to get a private health insurance to cover their health-care during the process.

So far nobody here mention one other obvious thing.
Yes it takes longer (2-4 years in total), but you can get decent amount of points.
It is to hit Canadian university and go for the PGWP after that.
And for those that can (only certain nationalities), you can try to go for Working holiday in Canada (that can be the way how to qualify for some provinces).

I agree with learning French. But it has to be a really intensive and short-therm course (5 days/week , 2 hrs/day, two or three months). By getting those points it could compensate the 5 points loss (B-day).
It is possible... at least to achieve the CLB 5 or 6 level (gaining 1 point per ability and adding 4 points at total CRS).

Also, by adding French as language, we may be chosen for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (on March 26 they targeted French Speaking in HCP stream).

I am sorry but I would like to differ from your statement here. For a fresh beginner, no matter how promising he is, it is not possible to even get CLB 5 with 10 hours study , an intense one, for 2-3 months.

It takes time to process new words and their usage to reach a decent level. In order to get CLB 5, one needs to reach a firm B1 level for which one needs to know how to use at least 1200-1500 French words correctly. If someone goes with a crash course, it will take at least 20 hours/week for at least 6 months to reach B1 level and then another 1-2 months study to get CLB 5 in TEF, that is in presence of a teacher.
