But I'm in Canada now

You can leave at will but you'll need the PR card (or a travel document) to enter Canada on a commercial carrier. If you can enter US legally, you may drive down from there in a rental car and you'll be admitted with just your COPR.

Thank you Asivad! In this case what kind of travel document do I need if I decided to travel by flight?

Hi Asivad

I have Worked in Canada as a Contractor in company for 8 months ( PGWP -open) under Noc-B
but my agency payed me (my Agency company is located in USA) . I was payed through ADP canada with Deductions (i also have t4 with me).

I GOT reference letter from my agency with all details . AND , i also asked for a ref letter from the client (From the company in Canada where I Physically worked) . but, they provided me just a simple letter (on the company letter pad with HR details) saying that I was employed as Contractor through xxx (my agency) with Fromdate and end date.

my question is now i feel there no too much details in letter provided by the client =>(bit worried) ( i Can try to get my duties, Work hours into the letter . but, not the pay or Title since they define me as contractor ) . also, i have to think the fact that client cannot provide the actual ref letter like my agency (with all details e.g.: pay (Since they don't care what agency pay me )

i Have collected all my paystub And T4

fyi ... the client in Canada have Head quarters in USA (thats how the USA agency came into play)

i am in EE pool ( i also have other Experience under NOC B -- less than a year)

Can you please Advise ? do i have Enough proof for my work exp

Hi asivad
I worked full time during my studies in uk (although only 20 hrs/week was allowed), if I get a reference letter proving this full time work (extra hours/overtime during 3 month holiday period which was allowed and part time rest of the months), can I claim this as full time work experience? Does it specifically has to be 30 hrs/week? I can show that I worked more in holidays and done 1560 hrs. Will there be a problem?

Dear Asivad,

I created my EE profile last year and while I was entering information regarding work experience, I entered trade name of one of the companies I worked for, instead of its registered name. Then I got Notification of Interest from Ontario and applied for OINP and through the process I was requested for docs related to the same company for which I provided them the required docs with the company's registered name inside the texts, along with a letter of explanation, and got my nomination today.
Now my question is: Can I change the company's name to its registered name in my EE profile before I get the ITA or should I provide an explanation letter for my eAPR stating the situation? Are we allowed to make changes to EE profile in the time between provincial nomination and ITA?

Thank you so much in advance.

It need not be 30 hours/week. You can claim part-time work experience as well. IRCC doesn't really care if you worked holidays and/or overtime. If your reference letter shows that you acquired 1560 hours of work over a period of 1 year (or more), you can claim that as 1 year of equivalent full time work experience. This could be 15 hrs * 104 weeks, 20 hrs * 78 weeks, 30 hrs * 52 weeks...

You can change that in your EE profile. LOE won't cause harm but isn't necessary.

I was just looking for additional views for peace of mind and specifically to confirm if word full time contract instead of full time permanent has any issue on PR application.?
I also want ask that at my new job I am working only about for a month now and I might not be able to get employment letter from new employer will be that be fine.? How do I explain or provide any proof for current new job.? I have mentioned the details about new job in profile because I was advise to keep profile updated and not to hide.

I wasn't able to find the answer so I am postic my question here.
I did upfront medicals for EE here in Canada. 2 weeks after I had to redo urine test. They told me if the results won't be ok I will have to see a doctor again. So they called me today, on Nov 14, a month after (Oct 12) last utine test, to book an apt. My AOR is Oct 18 and my status for medicals is In Progress.

I dont understand why it took a month to give me a call, but anyway, I was wondering how long will CIC wait?

I got eMedicals form which I uploaded when I submitted the application, but today a lady told me over the phone that a doctor didn't submit results yet....

I am worried that they don't cancel my application as being incomplete or something...

Your thoughts?

No, they are not going to reject the application for this. Since the doctor has not submitted all the results yet, it shows "In Progress". Once your doctor submits the results, it will be set to "Passed" if your reports are clear. Relax!

Thank you for your prompt response.
Another question, can I use notarized translations of birth certificates (me, my father and my brother for proof of blood relation in ON) older than 6 months (actually 1 year) for eAPR?
