Hello Asivad Anac...

Hope life is good at your end...

I might be representing a case of an application which has exceeded more than 6 months and are very jittery and anxious about the delay...

I too was a silent observer but now this wait has become kind of never ending...

I applied under FSW Outland from India

Timeline: AOR 30th March, 2016

Medicals Passed: 4th April

BG Check in progress: 16th August, 2016

VO: Ottawa

Nothing since then...

Called twice at call center

Latest update by the agent on 1st November, 2016

Security, medicals, criminality and BG complete.

Your application in queue for the officer to pick up your file and make the decision. Cant commit the date...

Same update i got over mail when i asked for the updates through email at Ottawa office and by raising CSE.

Never ordered GCMS notes till date....

Request you to kindly provide your valuable insights of my case and other similar cases as such...

What could be the reason of delay?

How can we expedite the process?

What are the chances of PPR?

Are there any chances of rejection at this stage?

Why the delay?

Apologies for bombarding with many questions...
Hope we all get the golden mail asap...

The only way of knowing for sure would be by reviewing your GCMS notes. In the absence of such notes, it appears all is well considering the information you've received from IRCC. Just a matter of time...

All the best!

Thanks for the prompt reply...

but one more question please...

what are the chances of rejection in this stage and whats the trend of receiving PPR to PR applicants at this stage?

Thanks again Asivad Anac...

Hi Asivad and other fellow members!

I'm seeking your honest advice regarding my issue. I'm OINP nominee and will be getting married in December. I'm still waiting for the decision on my file.

1 Is there a risk of rejection or reassessment if the marriage will take place in Alberta and not in Ontario? I used to live in AB and move to ON just recently to prove my intention to live in the province.
2. Do I need to wait for the marriage certificate cause as far as I know it'll take 5-10 weeks before I get them or the marriage registration or any proof of marriage will do?
3. Will the VO again go through my file, recalculate points etc.. after sending my spouse documents?
4. Is adding a spouse a better option than spousal sponsorship?

Thank you and I always appreciate your help.

Hi seniors,

I wish to know that whether notarization is required for Gift Deed and Affidavit or not?

Guys,

I need you urgent guidance on my following issue;

My father's complete official name is written in his passport under last name section and nothing is written in the first name section.

The same complete official name of my father appears in my passport as well.

I am updating this information in the Family Details Section of Post ITA Form which I plan to submit asap as all of my form is complete.

NEED YOUR QUICK GUIDANCE OUT OF THIS MESSY SITUATION !!!

BUMP the post. Expert advice please!

Me and my husband got nominations from different province and got invite. At last we have applied for the province which has nominated me. Do we need to withdraw my husband's profile or can it be open. If it is open, will it affect our PR application.

Write the name exactly as it appears in your father's passport. If the first name section is blank, write N/A there. You may add in a note to explain this.

Actively decline the nomination received by your spouse and inform that province that you are no longer keen on pursuing their PN program. That may help someone else receive that nomination.

Unlikely to have an impact. Where you choose to get married is your decision. If it doesn't impact your intention to settle down in Ontario, OINP shouldn't fuss about this.

2. Do I need to wait for the marriage certificate cause as far as I know it'll take 5-10 weeks before I get them or the marriage registration or any proof of marriage will do?

IRCC requires comprehensive proof of marriage and that typically involves registration information as well. You may choose to send them other documentation in the interim and add a note that you will furnish the registration information as soon at it is available.

3. Will the VO again go through my file, recalculate points etc.. after sending my spouse documents?

No.

4. Is adding a spouse a better option than spousal sponsorship?

Yes.

Thank you and I always appreciate your help.

Hard to say without seeing the notes. Going by your post, it appears that all aspects of your application have been cleared so there should be little to no chances of refusal at this stage.

In my passport I have just my fathers first name alone. Whereas while submitting the application I gave his last name as in his passport which is not there in mine. Because of this reason will my pr application gets rejected?

No but you could have provided them with a one and the same person affidavit. They are not going to reject you right away for this - If they need confirmation, they are going to get back to you!

Good luck!

By the time I have uploaded all my documents my loe link was gone so I was not able to attach it. Is there a way to attach that now? Like how we send email for province?
