PCC requests are triggered from Personal history section. If that is clean, no worries. You can also highlight this in the LOE.

I am a member of a professional organization in the US, therefore I had to list this under Personal History (membership starts two years ago and is ongoing). But I never lived in the US for more than 6 consecutive months. Would this still trigger a PCC?

Thank you very very much, you are a guardian angel for many :)

One more minor question, if you don't mind. My wife's name is let's say "Anna Smith Jones". Again let's say my name is "Peter Anderson". She has never used my last name, but only in the marriage certificate, her name appears as "Anna Smith Jones Anderson". In all the other documents, she has her own name.

Now what do you think is the answer to the question "did you use a different name?'

The answer has to be Yes.

Even though she hasn't used any other name, there exists at least 1 legally valid document which carries another variant of her name. An affidavit stating this fact would suffice along with documentation evidence.

Thank you. Just one last question, how long do you have to send your PP once you get PPR? I just want to make sure so that I know how long I can travel.

Thank a lot Asivad. I don't think people here can be thankful enough to you. Kudos!

30 days.

Weird! Even assuming they've clubbed the 1st two credentials into one and made it equivalent to a 4 year Bachelors, it is still weird.

You can certainly choose '2 or more..' option based on this report.

Asivad,

If you get ITA after PNP nomination do you have to upload hard copy of the nomination emailed to you?

If your Personal history section shows that you were residing in US for 6 months or longer in a row, Yes.

interesting, mine is only a membership in the US. No activity took place and I remained in my home country. So I need to choose "the country where activity took place" as my own country, and not USA

You will have to face delays - now or later. Better now than later.
So you think it's no option to get a new passport after COPR but before landing?

Yes.

Possible. But that will require you to return your COPR after you get your new passport and get a new COPR. As I said, delays now or later but delays nonetheless.

So i got a new job offer while i was in middle of submitting my OINP application so i didnt update this because i was still unsure about the new job process, Is it mandatory to inform OINP about this that i will be joining new company or should i just update myCIC account and it should be fine.
:-\

Also Change of information form has a place where it says file number but i havent got any file numbers yet!

So i think i have to wait for AOR till i get my file number
