This forum has been amazing for the process of getting my American husband here to live with me in Canada. The paperwork needed for Family Class Sponsorship was not easy at all and anytime I was unsure about something I checked here to see what everyone else did. Well it seems that all our paperwork went through without any problems at all and my husband has been living with me for a couple of weeks now. Approved that I was eligible to be a sponsor: October 23, 2015
Permanent Residence granted: February 8, 2016
Landed: February 9, 2016
Now the job hunting starts for him, too bad he had to come when Alberta's economy is so bad but he's here and that's all that truly matters! After two years of being long distance we are now together forever.
