anyways.. officially ur 6 weeks are getting oven this Wednesday and I have a strong feeling that after ur inquiry tomorrow.. there will be some update for u by this weekend.

yeah it will get over next Wednesday based on AOR but i will send the inquiry based on the submission date in order to try to get a feedback from them however they have the right not to answer back.

I hope that i will get it before Wednesday as i may travel to my home country during Eid only so i can take some relief with the family.

Dear All,
This is the 1st time I got a professional engineering job in OIL/GAS sector in Alberta, Canada and I am a bit nervous and need help of you all to get me through this phase.
I am an Indian National currently working Saudi Arabia. I have received my A-LMO( Accelerated LMO for highly skilled professional). I have finally gathered all the other required documents and have submitted to the Riyadh Canadian Consulate on 25th June 2012 through Al Fifa Agency(the govt agency in Saudi Arabia who are responsible for sending the applications to the embassy).
1) How much processing time it takes from the date of submittion to get a mail from the embassy for the medical referral.
2) My employer told me that my LMO is not a normal LMO, but a special A-LMO which gets approved in only 10 days especially for Alberta region as your job comes under highly skilled professional category. For this kind of work permit how much processing time on an average the embassy in Riyadh would take?
3) Do i need to show any proof of funds for this kind of work permit as well.

I have got a reply now from the embassy:

Dear applicant,

Your application is still under processing.

They did notmention anything about the timing of finishing the process.

wow that's great!! at least they are replying. and if its still under process means most likely its into the final stages of approval.
Lets wait till Wednesday. I hope they will send the confirmation mail by then
