Tax Liability on US stocks (ESPP) owned from before arrival in Canada

I immigrated to Canada as a PR in 2018 , at the time when I moved I had a US brokerage account with some US stocks from my employer in India(ESPP). I did not sell those when I moved but did declare it as an asset . I am planning to sell those now but not sure what tax implications would it have as I have a full time job now.
