Greetings,

Currently, my parents are in Canada with me on supervisas, and they are approaching the two-year mark of their stay, which will be in June 2024. While my father's supervisa is valid until December 2026, my mother's supervisa expires in April 2025. Given that my mother's visa expires earlier, I'm considering applying for an extension of 8 to 9 months, but I'm uncertain about the possibility of extending her stay all the way to February or March 2025, as her current visa is set to expire in April 2025.

Any advice or recommendations on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi my has supervisa till 2026 but at the time of entry, border officer put a date of Feb 2024. So, looks like I have to apply for an extension of her supervisa. She has been approved visitor visa extension once during covid. What are the chances that she will get extension of 1 year or 2 now on supervisa. Do they give supervisa extension for lesser than a year?
