Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Hi everyone,

I have some questions about Super Visa.

1. Is it I must work in Canada at least 1 year then only can apply Super Visa for my mum?

It's not 'MUST'; but it's required most times. Canadian Visa Offices in most countries would require recent year's NOA (Notice of Assessment) issued by CRA to prove that you meet LICO. If you work for 6 months; you may not meet the LICO. Besides, if you work less (2~3 months) in a year; CIC may not feel comfortable thinking that you have just started working and there may be probation period in your employment terms. But if your less than one year income (NOA or T4 whichever is required by your local visa office checklist) meets LICO satisfactorily; you may still apply.

2. Is there anyone apply for it even though not yet reach the minimum income requirement?

Probably not. But I'm not sure.

3. Is there anyone can share how to write a proper letter to Visa Officer?

hi rossei,,question,,can i use my wife as co-signer? for the super visa?

if I show a good bank statment in canada , could this compensate for not having a job yet in canada ? in other words if i dont have a job in canad but i have money could i sponsor parents for super visa?

Yes, I think so.

You, your spouse & all dependents + parent(s) your're inviting = Total Family Size for LICO

This doesn't fall in TRV>Visitors>Super Visa category. You should look in Family Class Sponsorship forum topic.

is job must for the sponsor ? as my sister is a canadian citizen and she intends to bring our parents to canada on super visa. My brother in law is also jobless at the moment.

If 'job' is not a must; 'income' indeed is. The sponsoring child has to prove that s/he meets LICO (low income cut-off). The proof is normally recent year's NOA (Notice of Assessment), issued by CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) once you file your tax return.

Super visa or visit visa ? which one is easier to get? besides the duration of stay and longevity of the visa, what are the major differences between the two? pros and cons?

Would appreciate if someone could help me out with answers of above queries.

nothing just two entry stamp from India and when they arrived at Toronto
i check all passport no other stamp and no other documents issued
so how to figured out , how long can they stay???
