Is anyone able to book appointments through VFS canada? I don't see any appointments available.
You won't be able to, not anytime soon. I am not able to get any appointment for my parents as well, and I recently found out that there are agents who are selling appointment access for 10k per appointment. I think some employees inside VFS are themselves working with these agents and getting a cut of the money. So, the only option available to me (and others as well) right now is either keep waiting for an appointment or pay these leeches and get on with my life. I really don't know what to do.

Is BVL and Biometrics being marked as completed on the profile - not one and the same??
I did ask similar question to someone, they said both are the same - I'm confused now. Can anyone else clarify this please?
No, BVL is Biometric Validity Letter which comes in as a message usually the same day as PPR, however there have been cases recently where folks received BVL in mid Nov or so and are still waiting for PPR. Historically it meant that the case has been processed and they may be ready to issue visa.

I applied my moms supervisa from India Delhi visa office September 15 2021
She had biometric done last year
Medical request October 5th
Medical done October 22nd
Medical passed shown October 27th
BVL Received October 27th but two days it’s been still ppr not received
Any one facing the same situation
Should I be worried ??
I have the same problem with my parents super visa got BVL on September 29 after that no update...

Also can we do Biometrics also upfront ?
You can take an biometric appointment upfront BUT BUT make sure that you must have submitted the application 2-3 days before you biometric appointment. Usually IRCC issue biometric instruction letter either immediately of on next day after you have submitted the application.
Biometric instruction letter is mandatory to submit biometrics.

No certified copy needed.
Only good scanned documents are required.

Good day. Applied for Supervisa on 26 May 2021 and did Biometrics a few days after. Since then no update. I requested GCMS. Has anyone come across this or know what does it mean "Internal application error"? Who must I reach out to? or what additional queries should I make?
What are you folks doing alternatively?
