Hi, My Mother is Living in Pakistan. The Visa office of Pakistan and Afghanistan both is Abu Dhabi.
I Submitted the webform on this link asking them that my mother is exempt from travel restrictions as Immediate family member and her application to be given priority. Since travel requirements have changed since then, i am not sure if its still valid.
I submitted my PR Card, Family Registration Form and Her Passport Copy. You can send birth certificate too to prove your relationship.
@WaseemWasii I submitted the same weeks back and they denied saying that her reasons for travelling is discretionary. Was your mother's reason for traveling for leisure? It would be helpful if you could share me a template of what you wrote in the travel exemption letter.
Ok, thanks. Was confused because IRCC portal did not have an option to enter previous application number. I just hope they don't process the older one before the new one.
It asked for previosu UCI, i am working on creating new application for my parents, it does asks for previous UCI number..
It asked for UCI but not visa application number, two different things. Through UCI they found out my mom's biometrics, it's just that I didn't see anything done yet to the old application. Looks like it will be withdrawn once the current one gets processed like you said earlier.
UCI is unique identifier, it picks up all associated application. thats should be fine.. Yes they withdraw when new one is processed..
First option may be quicker but may result in Visitor visa application
