Got my biometrics letter today on 4th day and biometrics is reflected ... waiting for medical request now

I had a normal single visitor visa approved in March 2021 on compassionate grounds... but it has expired now

Hi everyone. I have a couple questions about the super visa process. Hoping I can get some responses. Thanks in advance!

- Has anyone gotten approved with little ties to a home country? My in laws are US citizens, do not own any property, no children in the US, retired. Do you think this will be an issue?

- After the 2 years are up, would you be able to request an extension in the stay or would you have to leave Canada and try to come back?

- Is there a period of time that you have to be out of Canada before you can come back again?

Supervisa does not need strong ties, the invitors status need to be strong in canada.

- After the 2 years are up, would you be able to request an extension in the stay or would you have to leave Canada and try to come back?

Supervisa is 10 years visa with exit every 2 years, extension would be needed only after 10 years.

- Is there a period of time that you have to be out of Canada before you can come back again?

Nothing as such, but one can stay at a stretch of 2 years and then exit and enter.... You can exit even in 2 months and enter back. No issues.

Medical Request and Eligibility in Review: 27 August 2021
Medical Done: 14 September 2021

Thanks again for your responses. I'm curious to hear from others who have been with the supervisa program how often their parents visit and for how long at a time each time. Seems to be a really good program to substitute for PGP sponsorship for all those hopefuls who didn't get selected.
