When I can expect PPR? How long it takes usually?

We applied 14 April and we are still waiting. Our eligibility status changed 29 August. So I am hoping we may hear something soon.

We applied 14 April, we have just received BVL 29 August but no POE letter or PPR, so waiting again for an update!

Hi Guys. I need some urgent advise from you. I have applied for my mother's SUPER VISA from home country in Dec 2021. After that she traveled to Canada on a VISITOR VISA. Now her application has been approved and asking for Visa stamping. So my question is can I stamp Super Visa in Canada as she is available here. I have raised web form to CPC Ottawa but no response yet. Anyone experienced the same issue?

Hi what country did you apply the visa from ?

I was not aware that consent form is required to be submitted. I did GCMS request through IRCC Website and may be I missed it. I thought that since sponsor is requesting it for parents, it would not be required.

They responded towards end of 30 calendar days.
Requested on 21 June, heard back on consent form request on 29 July

Hi Ankit.
I am in similar boat. My parents are in Canada on visitor visa right now. I am planning to apply for their super visa when they go back to India in few months. And while that application is under processing, I would like them to travel to Canada on current valid visitor visa. Super visa processing times are increasing and we can't wait on them to process super visa. I believe they can travel on visitor visa as a border officer told me the same once at Windsor-Detroit border. But I also looking for some concrete confirmation. Let me know if you find any more details on this.

Only you can not apply within Canada for SV

applied from country X (while on visit) , got letter and approval from country Y (home country), got stamped in country X

My mom’s supervisa got PPR today, but she’s in Canada right now on her visit visa.
We applied on June 06, 2022 while she was in India. Now she came to Canada 2 days ago.
If anyone has similar situations before please let me know, much appreciated!

After 1 refusal, finally Visa approval came through at 2:30 PM (Toronto time) today.

Congratulations that’s awesome what’s your timeline like ? We have passed our processing time and we applied on 27th april , we paid insurance in full do you recommend re applying or to wait for the decision ?

I applied feb 2021 no result applied second file in april 2022 no result on both
