yes there are many you got and some did upfront after 1 year passed. IRCC website clearly states medicals are good only for a year. But sad thing these people delay applications and unnecessary work to re-do... They dont bother to consider even if delay was from their part. its better they do and then they will be good...

I have applied for super visa for my mother. Today I have received the stamped passport but it says Visitor V1. Does this mean she got visitor visa instead of super visa? Is this common?

I have been 11 months since I applied the only thing they request additional documents n medical request which it is been 6 weeks passed .. n no update I’m thinking of contact the MP .. could u plz tell me wat ur MP did for ur case , thank u

You will have to look at the MP based on your postal code...

Its wrong.. i have seen this for many. it seems it depends on visa officer. Were medicals done ? Did they expire?

my case my father showed passed in Oct2021, but then eligibility review started in Dec2021. Till then mom application nothing was progressing. On 11Mar 2022 her medical got passed. Immediately same day got PPR for both. So if medical shows passed for both and eligibility review had started within 2 weeks you should get PPR, or could be on same day of passing medical.

Crazy, she did on 30Sep2021 and passed on 11Mar2022. God knows, it seems due to backlog in processing medicals

That’s really long time I’m hoping that doesn’t happen with my in laws after redo medicals

I have made an online application with GCKey for super visa for my parents on:

Application Date : 14 Nov 2021
Biometrics request : 15 Nov 2021
Biometric completed : 16 Dec 2021

After that no update, so did upfront medical on

Medical done : 21 Jan 2022
Webform with Medical receipts : 27 Jan 2022
Reply email for webform request ( Medical Received ) : 14 Feb 2022
Medical Passed : 21 Feb 2022

After that no updates, so what should I do:

- re-apply in new IRCC portal ?
- send webform ?
- or just wait ?

Not sure if the eligibility review has started or not. Actually, I have applied through an agent and he submitted the application through his company portal. He can not share the log-in details. So, I guess I will ask him to check if the eligibility review has started.

Received PPR for my mom and dad from India. Here are the timelines

Feb 7, 2022 - Upfront Medicals done
Feb 19, 2022 - Applied on GCKey portal
Feb 20, 2022 - Biometrics Request
Feb 23, 2022 - Biometrics done
Feb 28, 2022 - Medicals Passed
March 13, 2022 - Eligibility review started
March 25, 2022 - Correspondence Letter (Biometrics information letter)
March 26, 2022 - Passport Request

Both are currently in India with no prior travel history.
