Well not right though, its a decent university and I have seen lot of people getting visa. The other thing he already paid deposit for it so this is why we dont want to shop for other university now. More or less they all are same.
I am just surprised, this guy have everything genuine, own enough funds and really want to do MBA for his career but have to struggle explaining it I guess
I have to disagree. Canada West isn’t a decent school. It is a private not public university that only international students attend. Few Canadian employers have even heard of the school. U of Windsor doesn’t have a great MBA school but it is a public university that is attended by Canadian and international students.

You mentioned he has good salary but couldn't prove savings over 10 years instead he disposed his property and provide proof with $100k. This is not cumulative income and he will most likely deplete his income moving along with the family. His tuition fee is likely $35k, rental for 2years $36k Vancouver, Day care plus other cost of living in Vancouver. while I have so many reservations with University Canada West, but choosig Ucan West over University of Windsor??? Like seriously? make no sense.

36k for 2 years living in Vancouver for a family of 4 is a pretty low estimate. Could be much more.

I estimated based on basement not near Vancouver, like in Surrey or Langley... which he has to commute everyday by transit bus and skytrain. For Burnaby, New West, Vancouver and or Richmond he is looking at $1800/2000 plus.. yes $36k can go as high as $48,000 for two years, excluding utilities.

With a family you often have a harder time renting a basement. Cost of transportation will also need to be factored in. People forget to include the high cost of living in somewhere like Vancouver. Apartments are also usually unfurnished so that will also involve extra costs.

It is true, you wouldnt disagree if you were here or attended Canada West. Well I know like 4 guys who went to Canada west and drop out, you dont want to waste your tuition fee. And out of 10 employer you will ask, few knows MBA from Canada West or they dont even know if it exists. In BC, UBC, University of Victoria, SFU and TRU are recognized. Unfortunately that is the truth, thats why i was suprised chosing it over Windsor...

Wouldn't put TRU on the list of good schools or recognized schools throughout Canada either.
