This is my situation below. Please read and help. Looking for advice:
Jan 1 - Sent my PR application
Feb 1 - Asked me for biometrics, of which I then provided
Feb 7 - Realized I used the wrong NOC code
Feb 7 - Immediately sent an IRCC web form to explain the situation. I included the correct NOC code, apologised for my stupidity and asked if they would use my new NOC code. I also updated the employment offer document with the new NOC code and attached to the webform.
Feb 17 - Still heard nothing back. Anxiety overdrive.
I kinda want to withdraw and start over. BUT there's a waiting period. My IEC open work permit expires April 15.
I don't have time to wait around for the withdrawal process.
If I could immediately withdraw and start over right now, I would.
Is it worth just hoping for the best, that the officer gets my webform AND decides to use my new NOC?
If I get a rejection I can immediately reapply. And in the mean time I can use the BOWP to stick around, keep working, and wait for the result.
If I withdraw I have to wait around. And they might even accept my NOC in the first webform, with a second webform for withdrawal pending. That would be messy.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
