Hi guys/gals,

With grace of God, at last I have sent the Simplified application to canada embassy in Pakistan on July 18 2008. I would like to thanks all of you who have help me. This is a great platform.

Can any body tell how much time will they take to sent any confirmation letter or case number?

Congratulation!
It will take 8 months (from Pakistan) if your profession is in demand in Canada (according to new rules), in other case you have to wait for 8 years. Hope for best.
 
Come on 'Classic', don't scare much...

My profession is Software Engineering. So I think once I get the case number, it will take 5 years....But my query is to get initial case number or authenticity that Canadian Embassy has received my form.

I got to knew few days back that a person applied through a consultant in May and he got his case number within 3 weeks. Do they differentiate from the source the application is received?

Please do reply me back some information that how much time embassy takes to sent any confirmation letter or case number in initial phase???

I will really appreciate if any one like to share the experience.....

within three months you will receive your case number AOR from CHC in Islamabad, I received mine after two and half month.
so be patient we have to wait for a loooooooooooong time.
