Hello, I would like to help my cousin in Pakistan obtain a study permit to study in Canada, and also bring her husband along with her for financial support on an open work permit while she completes her studies here (no kids).
If anyone that has gone through this process, please provide any input.
I understand for the spouse, they would have to prove ties to back home. (He has his own business/house). For the applicant, she would need an acceptance letter from a college/uni.
Can I just help her apply or do we really need an immigration consultant to help us? I see all of the application forms online here, but I am not sure which forms I would need for the spouse to apply for the open work permit. And when do we apply for the work permit for the spouse?
