Hi All,
Need advice.
I did my MBA HRM back in 2009. Have experience of around 12 years in HR with various organisations. Also have certifications in HR like PHR etc. Recently I transitioned to supply chain field and did my MSc supply chain and logistics from University of Strathclyde Glasgow in 2024. Been living in Glasgow Scotland for more than 3 years now and have a permanent job in Security operations at the Scottish Parliament Edinburgh. As my current job is not related to my main field, I'm now thinking of further studies in to analytics with a co-op option. I've applied for masters in business analytics to three Canadian universities, two of which are in nova scotia. Before coming to UK I applied for a masters program at the University of newbrunswick in 2021 but as I was too busy at my job at the time, I applied through a consultant who messed it up by submitting a half page SOP which I later saw and it was pathetic! My study visa was refused citing reasons as weak ties to home country and no going back to after finishing my studies. I wanted to enquire should I apply again for a Canadian study visa or it will be refused again due to previous refusal and the fact that I'm now 43 years old and im from Pakistan. I have no gap in studies. Been employed since my first masters and studying alongside my jobs all my career. My wife and 6 year old son living in Pakistan. Any advice!! And sorry for the lengthy enquiry.
