I applied to Delhi VFS on September 7, today I got my rejection. On the refusal letter, it's checked on Other Reasons.
Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, missing marksheets, academic record, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans.

My Profile goes like this:
10th - 74.63%
12th- 64.10%
Bachelor's CS and IT - 73.07%
IELTS 7.5 (RWS7, L8.5)
Applied Course: IT Business Analysis Conestoga College

I have following queries, please answer and HELP me

  • I want to reapply once again. But before that I want to order the CAIPS report. Which service do you recommend me?

  • The processing time for my country is 7 weeks and I hear CAIPS take around One Month. So, I do not have much time for January intake. The next intake is MAY18. How can I defer my application to May?

  • Should I defer my application ASAP or should wait for the CAIPS report?

P.S.: Non Indian National so applied under Non SPP Category

  • Order through www.getgcms.com

  • Contact your college, they will defer it to May'18.

  • Should I defer my application ASAP or should wait for the CAIPS report?
  • Order your Caips notes first, work on the refusal which you find out and then reapply.

P.S.: Non Indian National so applied under Non SPP Category

Do you not recommend to defer to May18 before getting CAIPS report?
You can defer anytime, caips will take almost 30-35 days. Its upto you to decide. You should order caips right away.

Hi Sirish, before jumping right away to apply for CAIPS, you should decided what you want to do. CAIPS takes around a month so for sure, you have to get an offer for May intake. Not sure if your course is available for May so please check the college website first. Your academic record looks good and in IELTS, I dont see you have 5.5 in any band so I am really confused why the officer is talking about language abilities. He has also indicated that your marksheet is missing. Did you have any backlogs?? If yes, did you submit all semesters/reattempt marksheets??? What was your last degree. Was it related to IT??? Future prospects and plan - this is a SOP issue. You need to write a very strong SOP.The visa officer's remarks dont really match because I see you have a strong IELTS and academic background.

Thank You Helican for your reply!
Yes, the course is available for May intake.
As a matter of fact, I did have one backlog. And yes, I did submit all of my transcripts, individual semester certificate and a backlog result as well.
My last degree was an IT degree (Computer Science and IT) four years course.

defer is to skip the intake and go to the next intake.
