It would be great to hear from people who have applied or are applying for a Study Permit for this fall. We can get an estimate of how long the visa process is currently taking.

I'll start.

Applied on June 5th from New Delhi VFS.

Will update as soon as the decision arrives.

1. Did you apply online or at the VFS? VFS I hear is much much faster...

2. When does your program begin. If its September then maybe that is why your application hasn't been reviewed yet. June is usually when they start entertaining student visa applications.

So on an average it looks like applications in India are being processed in under 3 weeks. Mostly 10 days or so..

Jasen one of my frnd related from India .... told me that India paper base application proceed faster than online.... Indian people can get visa with in a month

I've applied on 5th June under non SPP category through VFS Hyderabad.. Still waiting..

applied 12th April, got one update on May 12th to upload degree..Since then no update

I applied online on 5th June. Got an email/letter on 22 June saying "A decision has been made on your application. We require your passport to finalize processing of your application".

Have submitted my passport to Visa Application Centre, Mumbai.
How much more time is expected for me to hear final decision? Any clue?
