Study permit issued but want to travel back to home country-Please help

I got my study permit approved for Sep 2010 admit. I am currently in U.S and planning to travel to canada on this study permit in July. Then i plan to go back to my home country for month of August and come back in Sep for the start of semester. Please advise if it is safe to do so. Thank you.

If you are from a visitor visa exempt country, no problem, if you require a visitor visa, then you will require a multiple entry visitor visa (TRV)
