Can I travel to my home country while waiting for my PGWP approval?

Hi everyone,
I am currently on the applied status of PGWP and my study permit is valid until 30 April, 2026. I have to travel to my home country for some urgent work. Am I allowed to travel and come back to Canada and continue working full-time?

Any recent experiences or advice would be very helpful. Thank you!

You can return if you hae a valid PGWP. Study permit is no longer valid 90 days after program completion.
