Study Permit as Single Mom with Kid

Hello all,

This is Meheruna from Bangladesh. I have been accepted and got admitted to Georgian College, Berrie, to the Big Data Analytics program for 1 year. I am a single mother and my 5 year old son will be included to my visa application as dependant.
I am going to study the subject that is exactly relevant to my past job experience(which is 10 years).
I will show around adequate liquid cash and property documents that shows my tie with the country for both of us.

I would like to know if this is good idea to apply visa for both of us? or should I apply first for myself for the visa and then apply for my son's TRV after 5-6 months getting myself set in there?

Please suggest.

Apply together. I did too. Mine was 2 yrs old. His will be a trv and you can apply on his behalf.
