Study Permit Approved. No S-1 since I have V-1 ??

Hi,

I applied for study permit to Canada from India and recently I got a message in the panel saying that my study permit was approved and I also got the correspondence letter or letter of introduction that I need to demonstrate when I land in Vancouver and get my actual study permit.

However, I did not receive any request for my original passport. I do have a 10 year V-1 visa for Canada which I guess is a TRV. But other people have got S-1 when they applied for the study permit.

Will I not get a S-1 visa since I have V-1 ?

Someone please help me out.

I have already mailed IRCC but they haven't replied even after 4 days.

Hey I have a v-1 visa too. What happened? Was your visa replaced?
