Hi

I have completed my BBA in May 2013 and currently not doing any job.

I want to know that how much study gap is acceptable for applying for PG diploma courses in Canada if I sit idle?

Will there be any problem in getting visa If I apply for September intake 2014 with this study gap?

And how much gap is acceptable with work experience?

Thank you

1 year gap is considered okay, while completing visa form, one can write preparing for IELTS and Visa. This is the standard practice. However, a gap of more than 1 year may create trouble ( if gap is with no work or study) You can't apply for September intake now, and in fact jan intake for university is also bit late. However, you can apply in any college for Jan2014 intake. You have plenty of time, december 1st is the last date for submitting file for Jan2014 intake.

Best of luck!

Cheers!

Unde SPP for PG programs, the gap should not be more than 3 years since your last qualification. Even if you have had a break for 10 years in your education and you had completed your last qualifications in the last three years, you are eligible to file under SPP.

Uner Non SPP, you may file for admissions and visas anytime. You should explain briefly in a paragraph that why you are a genuine student even after so many years of gap in studies. If you are able to do so, as a matured students, you have chances for an approval of the study permit application.

Hi All,

I had completed my LLB in 2010 and I am continuously working since then.
Now I have applied for paralegal course. I have already received offer letter from Centennial College and Durham College.
My specifics are:
10th in 2000 with 64% marks
12th medical stream in 2004 with 54% marks
BSC PZB(medical stream) in 2007 with 50% marks
LLB in 2010 with 67% marks.

What are the chances of getting visa for this course after working for 5 years as a lawyer and corporate associate attorney for a US company.

Regards!

Manjit

Hi

This is my academics qualification

10th grade 2005
12th grade 2007
BBA 2007-10

2011, 6 months working experience

From 2012 onwards i changed my profession to Music n went through as follow:-

Theory exam 2012
Guitar grade 5, 2012
Guitar grade 7, 2013
Guitar grade 8, 2015

All these exams were affiliated to Trinity College of London

Beside this,I am currently working as a Music teacher in a reputated school in delhi from past 4 years

This is my ielts score 6.5-L, 6.5-R, 6-W, 6-S - overall 6.5

And now I am planning to apply for a music diploma in guitar in toronto, canada

So, my concern is about the GAP, how strong or weak is my profile for study visa.

And also is there any advantage of applying study visa by an agent over applying by own

Thanks
