For study permit expiry date, the immigration form does not let you enter the date you fill the form on. I had to validate the form by choosing the next day as my expiry, which is technically incorrect. All this because I submitted my pgwp application on the last day my study permit was valid. The system has recorded my submission within the acceptable time though (on the date of expiry at like 3pm utc) and all the other documents are correct.

Any advice on if this technical workaround is acceptable? or do i run the risk of rejection? if so, should i raise a webform explaining this?

If anyone has been in a similar situation, please let me know.

When did you complete your program (not study permit expiry) and apply for PGWP. So date of program completion and date of PGWP application. Study permit is 90 days after program completion, not expiry. It is whatever comes first.

My official letter of completion and official transcript show 19th November as the date the degree was conferred, and I generated these documents on 30th December.

I then submitted my PGWP application on 31st December (same day as study permit expiry), hence the immigration form did not take the same day, and I had to put the next day to validate it.

reference pictures, please have a look, thank you

I also want to add that, upon further inspection, I found that my letter of completion was first processed sometime in the first week of October. So, I am within the 90 day rule. But my question is, how would IRCC even know these internal dates since the documents I submitted show their generation date (30th December) as well as the date of degree conferral (19th November)?

So you applied within expiry with your language scores so wait for a response
Thank you so much for your insight.

I wanted to ask you, have you ever come across a situation like this? And could this be grounds for rejection? Should I initiate a webform explaining how the system would not let me enter the same day as the study permit expiry, and hence I had to choose the next day to validate the immigration form? Please advise.

Sure you can explain why you waited until the very last minute when you didn't need to.
