Elections in October but it takes time for new government to settle down.. to roll out new policies..
And speaking of Study visa.. new government could be tough but at the end they need youngsters anyhow.
Chances for conservative party are high to win and conservative party is against refugees not students.
But still it’s dicey, the govt in action is more favourable n immigration greatly depends on the govt in action. I was only saying k visas are approved at larger scale on Average in sds category around 80 percent visas are getting approved. But in portal only people who are refused n tensed are seen posted.
So don’t worry friends most of us will be approved. For non sds it is 50-50.

student acknowledgement letter 8 aug

no updates over that even medical not passed yet..i gave it before application submission e-medical
I also submitted file on 25th July sds online. Biometrics on 29th no update after that

BTW, Have you applied from outside Canada?

Also, please let me know if the call was useful for getting update about the delayed study permit, as I will going to call them too.
