Hi everyone. I applied from Phil. Lodged on June 26 via paper application. Received a notification than application is under process in IRCC. No update yet as of today. Per tracking, still on process. Everything is complete already. Medical, LOA from School, paid the tuition fees and reqs are complete. Hoping for a result the soonest.
Hello everyone. I have applied for the Study permit under Non SDS category. I have applied for the PhD program in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Western University, London, Canada. As per the offer letter, I am getting the full tuition waiver along with the annual stipend of around $CAD 18000. I have applied via paper based mode & the timeline is as follow:
1. Medical: 30th May 2019
2. Appointment for application submission along with bio-metrics: 13th June
3. Application received by high commission: 17th June
4. Email to link my online account: 27th June
5. Email that my application is still in process: 5 days ago.
Any idea about how long it would take for the process? My session starts on 1st September 2019. I have submitted all the necessary documents along with my SOP, in which I have clearly indicated my intent for research and higher education, and then returning back to India to join CSIR labs/ professor at IIT's/NIT's/IIIT's.
Please give your valuable feedbacks.

It took a long time bro. N it ws my 2nd time applying so they had my medical n biometrics already. N i gave the biometrics on 3rd june

I applied on 25 May 2019.medical gave before apply.i gave biometric on 31 May ..got email from vfs with tracking id which shows your biometric sent to vac New Delhi for processing on 3 June.but biometric not updated in my gckey account.44 days has gone no any update.file under sds online.
I gave medical on 6 May which got updated after apply 26 May
So medicals r cleared and updated on the very next u applied for visa 26 may and still waiting
