Hello Evrybdy,

Got application no on 8th July 2009.
Submitted full details on 7th Nov 2009.
Got Medicals on 18th March 2010.
Medicals Done on 5th April 2010.
Got Remedical on 21st April 2010.
Remedicals submitted on 2nd May 2010.
Got Passport to change appearence on 18th May 2010.
Sent back on 2nd June 2010.

Can anybody help me, How much time it will take to get my Visa. Ecas was not updated since 2010/05/04.

As per your case history your visa may be stamped this month itself. Just wait peacefully. The delay in mail can be pushed till July.

What does "Got Passport to change appearence" mean?

This means that I recvd back my passport with a letter saying that the Appearence in you passpt & your current appearence does not match. For this I have to apply for "Appearence change" request in my regional passport office , after verification & police report they issue me a new passport with current snap & cancelled old passport.

Before the passport was send back to you. Did your ecas change from "in process" to "Decision Made"?

Frnd ,,

The process is very simple , fill the forms for new passport (Appearence change) and submit your old passport. After this apply for tatkal scheme by taking a verfication report from the SHO of your police station, they will provide you with 3 copies. you have to submit this to passport office & submit 2500/- fee for tatkal, u will get your new p[assport within three days.
