You can call CIC and book an appointment for "in-country" landing which will take a few weeks or go to anyone of the border crossings to US.

Thanks Sashali.

Appreciate if you can provide details or link to contact CIC for completing "In-Country" landing formalities.

You can google it: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/help.asp
Choose an office, make a call, say what you need...

Make a call to CIC and tell them you want to book an appointment for landing. They will ask where you are, and book at the nearest cic office. I am in Toronto, called last Friday, and I got a letter from cic office in Etobicoke on Wednesday schedule my landing on May 10th.

Thanks a ton. :)

What would be the average timelines to receive PR after completion of medicals and paying of RPRF fees.

As per the current trend it's about 2 months from the time they receive your medicals.

Jes, yosmite, Andy and other seniors:

One of my friend has applied for PR under CEC in Aug 2012. 2 weeks back she got a mail to pay RPRF. Does it mean Medical/MR is waived or MR will come after RPRF is paid? Even she wondered how could she get RPRF mail amd no MR mail so far.

Pls comment.

Really is there a way to get medical waived like waiving interview?

I think its normal practice of CIC. I too received mail to pay RPRF fees initially followed by medical requests on second day.
