Hi! I received an invitation today with a CRS score of 524. I started my full time job in Canada in January 2025, but I worked remotely from my home country for two months (May and June).
Now that I have the ITA, is it okay to wait and submit my application closer to the end of the 60-day deadline so I can gain an additional 2 months of Canadian work experience before submitting? Also, is the 12 months of experience calculated up to the date the ITA is issued, or up to the date the complete application is submitted?
I’m a bit confused about this and would really appreciate any guidance.
Thanks!

So you cannot submit until you have a year of experience IN Canada. So that is in March as your experience outside Canada is separated. In your profile you would have had seperate entries for work outside Canada.

So does that mean I need to list this as two separate work experiences in my profile—one from January to May, and another from July to the present? Also, what happens if I submit my application just one day before the 60-day deadline, at which point I would have exactly one year of Canadian work experience? Also out of those 2 moths, 2 weeks were of vacation? Does it need to be 52 months physically present and working in canada?

also what's weird is that I started my work in Canada in Jan but on Dec1 it automatically awarded me points for 1 year and not on jan 2026?

It is well known glitch. You have three separate entries - two for the Canadian experience and one for the foreign, remote experience

@Naturgrl can you please clarify this as well? Thanks!
