Anyone recently transferred to St. Clair from Kitchener Office?! How long does it usually take after being transferred till you get invitation to the test?1 Please share your experiences.

i got pre test rq and submitted rq documents to scarborough office as per atip my rq documents are now with st claire office who is appearing as responsible office. my question is which office is my local office?

I was just informed that my file was transferred from Scarborough to the St Clair office on Oct 24th.

I applied this year May 2013.

Any reason why Scarborough would send my file to St Clair? Back log maybe. I pray no RQs

I have been a PR for over 21 years and traveled once on a 3 days vacation in the last 3 years - I lived in and only Canada since I was a kid.

Hi PR42LONG, I would also think because of the backlog at Scarborough. They do not just send your file to St.Clair to give you RQ (you could have received it from Scarborough or Sydney too). My file is at St.Clair's too , no RQ yet. Good luck! Your timeline is good!

My time Line.
Application received 10th Sept 2012
Started processing my application 1st Feb 2013,
Received RQ letter from Mississauga, office, 15th April before the citizenship test,
Replied them will bunch of paper work, to prove them about my residency.
at last I have ordered GSMS notes and found out that my file has transferred to St.Claires
I haven't heard anything back yet, god knows what's happening with my citizenship file..

I wish I wish.. God bless Canada.

GSMS notes just said that your file has transferred to St.Claire? You could had got this information by just calling CIC agent.

I am from February 2013 Applicants and my timeline is as follows;

Application received: February 13, 2013.
AOR letter and a study book, Sent: February 13, 2013 and Received April 14 ,2013 in the mail
Application started processing: on April 10, 2013.
Fingerprints requested December 10, 2013 and sent fingerprints electronically December 11, 2013.
My Local office: St.Clair Office, Toronto (Is that good?) - Didn't receive RQ. I am not from GTA, and I live in Chatham, ON

Anyone with similar timelines?

How long should I expect to wait after a fingerprints request?

I have a friend who started Mar 2012 and completed Application sometime in October 2013. He also got fingerprints request, like sometime in April 2013.

I got notice to start preparing for the test on 6th Jan 2014 but no test date yet. I think they will send another letter with test date in it.

No, i did not get my renewed PR Card yet.

Even I have not received my PR Renewal yet, it is been over a 4 months now, applied on Sep 9 2013, CPC-Sydney started processing my application on 27th October 2013, there is no decision yet, I have tried calling CIC, and agent advised me wait till 25th Feb 2014, if you don't hear anything before please call us, your application is still under process.
What is your experience for PR Renewal.

Every case is handled differently by CIC. We can only guess and make predictions. I applied for my PR card renewal in Feb 2013. Waiting since then...

Yes it is so frustrating, anyway waiting,
as far as my citizenship is concern, i am waiting for for a test.
