Spouse with SOWP travel alone

Hi everyone and thank you for your help.
I and my spouse applied together for the SP and SOWP. We got the final approval but the visa stamping process for my spouse took so long so I had to travel to Canada alone as I have in-person labs here. Now just after few days my spouse is planning to join me. Can he travel to Canada alone with his OWP and tell them that he wants to join me or he needs some specific documentation?

What’s the update? Was your spouse able to enter Canada as I am in the same situation that my wife is already in Canada and I received OWP and planning to travel but my agent says I cannot travel without valid job offer. What are your views on this ? @Sad93
