spouse visa or open work permit for spouse

Greetings of the day !!!!

Hope you are doing food. I am currently I am studying in alberta, I am perusing Masters in Information Security at Concordia university of Edmonton. I have 1 year of study visa remaining. I am going to India next month for my marriage.My finance is currently working as a software developer(Java) in India from past 2 years. She has done B tech in IT in 2012 with very good scores.
I am planning to apply for an open work permit for her after marriage, I need your suggestions and what are the chances of getting spouse visa or open work permit for spouse?

Is it necessary to change my wife's name and address on her passport after marriage?

Once married your spouse can apply for an open work permit. As for the change of name is all up to the both of you and want. A marriage certificate is proof enuff of the marriage.
