Hi everyone,

I think CIC is transferring applications from various visa offices to other visa offices and so it might be helpful to know some additional info for each application. I've added a couple of columns to the spreadsheet. Please let me know what you think.

-Sponsor citizen or PR
-Applicant citizen of which country
-Applicant residing in which country

Also, I strongly recommend that everyone add themselves to the corresponding year spreadsheets. Currently there are only 6 people on the 2015 spreadsheet yet there are 13 people on the ADVO spreadsheet

I submitted my passport in 23rd of august for the pr and they told me it will take 10 working days only , but nothing came yet , is it normal or thier is some thing wrong ??

hey guys!!!! Finally I received my PPR today July 30, 2015!!!... And good thing there is already a VAC office here in Kuwait so no need to send the passport in Abu Dhabi... I think they are reducing their workload in Abu Dhabi....

Any updates? did you get your visa yet? have you landed? Oh I hope all is well

I applied for Character Certificate or Police Clearance Certificate from Pakistani Consulate in Abu Dhabi,
What I received after 5 months is a paper having black and white letterhead with black & white emblem mentioning their is nothing adverse in Police record during my stay at "my address in Karachi". Only colour on the paper are of the signature and the embassy stamp.

That certificate contain no other information like CNIC No. Passport No. DoB, not even my photo.

I intend to submit the same to the LVO or CIC in the hope that it will be acceptable .

Kindly share your experiences, preference and steps to follow to get PCC from Pakistan while living abroad.
(Did anyone tried the services of "Mamoo in Pakistan)

Officer has number of files and officer process as per their schedule and arrangements and they don't care about client time and worries.
therefore just wait no other options

I encourage all to order notes from time to time. I wish all of you good luck and a speedy process. Hang in there. Every day passes, it's 1 more day closer to the end. I can go on and on about my circumstances, and what we had to endure, but we all have our challenges. Don't despair, there will be harder days than others, but in the end, it will all be worth it. When was your file transferred to ADVO? Don't put to much weight on "in process" status on eCas. In my case there's no way they could have processed my file in 1 day. Did you think of ordering your notes? Good luck.
