Hi everyone.

After i sent my ADR, just today I checked my ECAS and it shows DECISION MADE. When I clicked it, it stated that

We received your application for permanent residence on May 20, 2014. We started processing your application on November 20, 2014.

Medical results have been received. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Please what does this mean and what is the next stage?

You should receive PPR soon. ecas status some time do not exactly relate to the actual status of your application.

I really appreciate your reply, I dont know why it took them that long to reply, my wife has been there in canada since 2010 but she only applied for a permanent resident visa last jan 21 2013 since she is required to stay 2 years to be eligable, as soon as she applied she applied for me also. did I do the right thing? I dd not do the medicals yet.

if the sponsor is already a permanent resident or citizen and sponsors spouse then application is processed under the high priority spouse sponsorship program. if he or she is applying for permanent residency along with spouse and dependent child (if any) then the application takes time as posted on cic web site for different categories of immigration.

you should reply:"
Q1. YES, we will cancel visa when our immigration application is finalized for visa issuance."
As you know at the time of PPR they will ask you to provide proof of your sponsor's gulf visa cancellation, in case spouse has a GCC visa.

Q2. any thing your spouse has done in Canada which proves that you are gearing up for relocation. opening of bank account. property own or lease, started job etc.

hi greetings to everybody, my wife is in Vancouver Canada and I am here in Qatar, we sent our application last january 21, 2013 and the canada embassy started processing our application for PR just this May 16, 2014. I received an email last Sept 15, 2014 asking for all the documents (IMM forms) and I sent it everything without the medicals last Nov 15, 2014 (last week only). My questions are:
1. when will I be receiving a reply?
2. is it through email that they will reply?
3. I sent it through aramex should I be waiting for a reply from them as well?
4. I did not do the medicals yet since when I called the accredited clinic here in qatar by the canada embassy in UAE, they said to do the medicals as soon as I am requested by the embassy
5. will this take long?

My wife and I both applied for a permanent resident last january 2013, i hope they will reply as soon as possible. Any one kindly answer I will highly appreciate it.

for your question regarding medical, you can do an upfront medical if you are sponsored under spouse immigration (this is when your spouse is already a landed immigrant or citizen of Canada). if both of you are applying for immigration then you will be required to do medical once CIC asks you to do so.

The aor its the same letter of SA
But if u wanna be sure about if they sent ur paper to ADVO or not yet u can call cic in canada the agent will look at ur file and will tell where is ur paper now

Current Sponsorship approval time is around 50 days. Means end of Sep 14 or early Nov 14 applications should receive SA by now. Mississauga office sends Sponsor an email informing receipt of the application and then SA letter is issued usually in a week's time. In the SA letter they mention about file transfer to your selected Visa Office.
Afterwards the applicant receives emails/letter from the visa office.

your immigrant visa is valid till the validity of your medical results, there are few possibilities with that. If you did your medical later after your application submission and the remaining validity of your medical results is still 4 to 6 months then probably you will get visa valid till that time.
if your medical results are expiring soon in a month to two then CIC might ask you to redo tests or may get an automatic extension of 1 year from the regional medical office.

I just recieve ADR few days ago ,
usually advo issue the visa with validity till the date medicals end ..
when u submitt the aditional document to advo ?
