Hi to all,its really hard not knowing whats going on and whats happening to our application,Right?We ate still waiting for my husband application from abu dhabi,1 year and 7 months and still waiting

Hello loveu, When was the last time you heard back from ADVO ? Have you applied for GCMS notes ?

Still absolutely no correspondance.

I got sponsorship approval in Mid/late April 2014...

Not heard ANYTHING from ADVO since. No AOR, no document request, nothing.
I don't even know if our file has been received by them!
This is crazy..


You would think at least an AOR would have come after the SA by now.. nothing..

Have ordered GCSMS notes... lets see.. Really worried and frustrated...

I know at least 2-3 other people now who applied after us, and got Sponsorship Approvals after us, have gotten AORs from Abu Dhabi and Additional Documents Requested..

I don't get why ours is taking so long. Depressed, sad, and frustrated as well as worried..

I've had no correspondence from ADVO... Zero correspondence.

I am afraid that you may have fallen into the group of people who did not receive email from ADVO. Was your SA sent to you via an email ? Indeed the notes will give you a better insight. Do let us know how it goes.

AOR from Mississauga, AND SA, both were sent via email....

Every now and then I hear about Sponsors/Applicant who have not received an email from ADVO - but ADVO claims that an email has already been sent. Sponsors usually follow up with them and later discover that they have missed the communication.

Did you check all your spam folders and also make sure your Principal Applicant also checks spam/junk folder.

Yep, checking both our inboxes and our spank/junk folder multiple times a day

what documents they have requested? have you tried contacting them? running 8 mos now. Seems like ADVO are slowing things down..

They asked to provide proof of sponsor residing in Canada and copies of the sponsor's passport held since 2010.

It does expire in a year - I was just under the impression that once updated on ECAS - they have your medical information, so why need under one ? Perhaps I am mistaken .

If it has been a year since you did your medicals, then ADVO will definitely ask you to do it again. As I heard that medicals have to be valid for at least 2 months when they are ready to stamp your PR visa in the passport. My medicals expired yesterday; I did it on 26th August last year. So now I am waiting for the request to do the medicals again and hopefully after that I will get PPR soon

Don't worry too much. In my understanding this could only mean that your application is pretty complete and they don't need any additional documents from you. In your case I would give them another month before getting worried...

I got SA on Oct 29th and AOR and ADR on 29th Jan. Exactly 3 months. Be patient, you will hear soon
