Some ppl told me it can be but I tried it didn't work, but the number I sent u is working he just need to follow instructions and they will transfer him to immigration department

My husband tried to call cic with that number thru Skype but it's not working .calling it direct its quite expensive so i called this afternoon and agent Sent me a representative form to filled out so i can access my husband's application .

Perfect , yes if you wana call them from Canada it's tool free and they answer always , true u need to fill up this form so they can give u info about ur husband application
You will send it to them through this one http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Attached it and within max 10 days will make effect

With this website you also can contact Abu Dhabi visa office and ask them for any info as his application is Outland so they are the one who is responsible for it and have access on his file if it already reached them for processing
And you can link his file with online account so you can see more detailed info on it, it's updated daily and email will be sent to you as soon as any changes occurs, or any additional documents needed

Application submitted: Dec 2, 2016
Processing started: Jan 2, 2017
Medical results: Submitted

I received additional documents request in Feburary which i submitted before deadline. But I haven't received any sponsorship approval letter or any kind of notification which visa office my file is transferred. Just plain silence & same "in process" status since 6 months.

Need you guys' expert opinion.

hi. I got PPR and I had a couple of questions

1) Can I just go to the ADVO and submit my passport, pictures and the form or do I have to mail it ? And do I need to book an appointment or I can just go straight away ?

2) How long does ADVO take for visa stamping once passport is submitted ?

I believe from 30 to 40 days max and some ppl got it within 2 weeks congratulations wish u best of luck

Just a quick question, you got email today? Cause as far as I know they closed today for Canada day

so i can just go to the embassy in AD and submit my passport ?

There is instructions on the email
You can either mail it directly or use VFS
I don't believe they will accept your passport personally.

no, on 30th June

Looking at the instructions, it does say I can hand in my passport myself at the embassy. I was slightly unsure so asked.

I applied in December 2016, so 7 months in total. Nationality - Pakistani.
My application was processed in London Visa Office but I was asked to submit passport at ADVO because i live in UAE.
