Dont worry in no time you will ! I just keep telling myself it is all a waiting game.
Anxiouswife used to be very active on this thread, haven't heard anything recently. Also I wonder if any of the earlier members like safa.umair and ASBA, who submitted their ADR, heard anything back from ADVO ?
I am still very actively reading all the posts here Impresso. Just that there hasn't really been any update so haven't written in.
My update now is that I will be receiving my India PCC by courier today. (The courier company just called me now and are going to deliver in the next 2 hours). My courier packet is ready to dispatch to ADVO once I receive the PCC.
Just so you all know, below is the request from ADVO:
In order to continue processing your application, we ask that you provide the following documents/information to assess your eligibility or admissibility:
POLICE CERTIFICATES
General Information: Police certificates are required for each country you have lived in for more than 6 months since your 18th
birthday. Police certificates must be issued after your last period of residence (i.e. more than 6 months) in that country. If your police certificate from your current country of residence is more than 12 months old, you must submit an updated police certificate issued within the last 6 months.
Your original updated police certificate from INDIA. If this document is written in a language other than English or French it must be translated in English or French by a professional translator. The original document must be attached with the translation. For information on how to obtain a police certificate from any country, please consult the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp.
I had applied for UAE PCC in August last year and submitted with my original application. Therefore I applied for it again and will be sending both UAE and Indian PCC now.
Hope this info helps.
Hope that this time they dont take very long to respond to me. 6 months is how long it had taken them to send me this ADR2 from the first ADR I received in Jan 2014.
