Hey all, can anyone tell me what email to use when informing the VO of a change in status.
Also, in our Caps notes it says the documents the asked for the created date waa 1/19/2014 and the due date was 2/2/2014 but my husband didn't get the email from the VO until February 10 and in it it said we have 45 days.
If you calculate the created date and the due date its not 45 days, so I'm confused as to whats going on .
we sent the documents they asked for on March 3 based on the email request from February 10.
I'm not sure if those dates mean anything or understand what is going on. if anyone can help it will be appreciated.

Hi,go to this website www.uea.gc.ca ,look at contact us and go to specific case inquiry and theres blank that you have to fill up and write them.its good thing they sent email again.I'm worried

Thank you for the reply loveu.

I sent them an email and i also tried to contact our MP, so we will see what is going on. I'm so upset because of the time set back and it's not even our fault. hopefully, everything is going to be ok.
we did send what was asked from us and on time based on when we got the email. And i am sure 100 percent they did not send the request when they said they did, i and my husband check our mail every day.

This doesn't look good at all. If we are having issues like this, I am afraid to think what can happen next!!!

As it is its difficult having to go through this procedure and then all this which drags the application even longer! >:(

Has anybody applied for visit visa and got through?

Hi, I have a question. First a bit of background about my application. My wife (Canadian Citizen) is sponsoring me for PR. We applied through the Abu Dhabi office in October 2013. I got Request for Documents and Medical on January 13 2014. No updates since then except for 'Medical results have been received' in ECAS. She is living in UAE with me.

Now for the question. We found out she is pregnant. Baby is due in October. She will be going back to Canada to have the baby. Now I need to know if I have to inform CIC about the pregnancy or not? If yes how? From what I understood from reading the AOR from ADVO is that if the principal applicant is pregnant then CIC needs to be informed. In my case I believe I am the principal applicant not my wife who s the sponsor or am I wrong?

Hi Tsm,

Please can you share the following details of your application so we can see your timeline. We are also maintaining a spreadsheet of all the applicants to get an idea of the processing time.

ya, i tried it last summer, i tried it i think it was about 3 times, and all 3 times i got denied and the reasons kept changing depending on what i provided them. But on my last try i was really close, they rejected me for only one reason while the previous rejections were several. i would not advise anyone to apply for visit unless u have a really good reason that shows your spouse will be coming back to there home country. Its almost a guarantee rejection for visit visa for your spouse. I been also thinking to reapply for it, but so far am unsure

I applied twice last year (before submitting my application for sponsorship) and got rejected for different reasons except ties in Canada and in the country of residence which was similar in both the rejection letters. So I am wondering if I should apply again though I will not be able to accept another rejection. :(

If u didn't get rejected because of family ties as being a reason then i would say definitely apply again, and you have nothing to lose in my opinion, i was told by a friend not to apply too many times but that was only his opinion. I found that family ties to be the hardest reason to prove. For me my last rejection was because of financial reasons. Am hoping to have that taken care of if i apply again. Am sure what ever the reasons were that you were rejected you can have it resolved. The most important thing is attending to the reasons for your rejection and any other possible reasons that might arise. Something good i found to do was to go over there list of possible rejections they have and basically see if u have all those issues covered before applying, this increases your chance of approval i believe. Btw if u don't mind me asking how did you exactly prove to them that family ties was not an issue for you.
