Hi guys,

Need your help.

I applied for PR along with my husband in April 2020. I live in Canada, however, my husband is in India. In Aug 2021, I received my COPR, however, my husband, couldn't get it because he wasn't in Canada.

Kindly help me to understand will my husband get it or not or do I have to sponsor him? A few of my acquaintances are telling me that I have to sponsor my husband which will again take a year.

I am unable to understand, when I applied for both of us, why he has not been given PR.

What are my options now? Should I apply for his work permit, TRV, or what?

I am really stressed out. Kindly help.

How was he included in your application - accompanying or non accompanying?

The whole outland pool and AOR population can't understand the reasoning and logics of IRCC,so kindly don't waste your energy trying to analyse their actions, but plan something that could make you both meet again.

IRCC and the royal lobbyist Mr. Mark holthe says : "Canada owes applicants virtually nothing" This is for economic immigrants cause economic immigrants are for Canada's benefit and not for the immigrant. FSW is an economic immigration scheme and it's literally

Have you asked IRCC about the status of his COPR? That would be the first step.

Yes, I did. I wrote them email, asked questions through webform, even tried calling. For both the webform and the email I got the same reply that they are only looking into priorities enquiries only.

So, in short no help.

Tried calling but it never connects, after selecting all the options and entering my app/ uci number the call gets disconnect.

Try checking your email/spam to see if you received any email for passport submission. Only the Primary applicant receives the communication.
