I have also applied in 14 april with medical but didn't get any update.. on which date have you applied?

Applied online on 26th March with medical valid upto 1st May. No update as of now. File being processed at Chandigarh VO.

how you know your file is processed in chandigarh vo.. My husband applied online too I would like to know as well ..please let me know too thanks .. I'm from chandigarh too
 
For All VFS Chandigarh applicants -
My wife applied through paper application on April 15 with upfront medicals. My application was prepared by a lawyer here in Canada. My status says" visa is being processed..............as chandigarh" on vfs tracking. I contacted them regarding my status a couple of times. First time i called them myself, they said its under processing. That's it. The second time, i had my lawyer contact vfs, they said they will be able to reply after 2 months ONLY. NO reply regarding status before two months. :-X. So, i guess... wait then...... It sucks. Does anyone have any update on this?

No update even after 1.5 month... All we can do is wait... Lets hope for the best... :)

If your husband has applied online, he must have account on cic. He can check application status there.

they already mentioned 4 months processing time and they never disclosed application status..it's already mentioned on your receipt.so stay clam and hope for best.

I had submitted a cpl of docs later on via CIC's Case Specific Enquiry about 20 days back. Received a mail on 28th May from Delhi Visa Office with a cc to Chandigarh CHC saying that the file is being processed at Chandigarh office and the same documents have been acknowledged.

what kind of documents did request from you. We did not get any reply we applied online on25th March is it better to contact New Delhi visa office as we applied online in canada

i contact Delhi,chandigarh,Canada no reply so far ..applied 2nd March

They did not request for any documents Sunny. We merely submitted an updated pay stub for my wife. Addressed it to both New Delhi and Chandigarh's CSE page (my last application was processed by New Delhi Visa Office).

New Delhi Visa Office just reverted that our file is being processed at Chandigarh VO and the same documents have been forwarded to them.

Hi @tann

I applied on 23rd of april. I also called the vfs chandigarh people and they told me the same thing as to you that it takes min 20-22 working days for processing and rest all depends on case to case.
 
Hi friends happy news for me. My sowp online application for me and visiting for my daughter has been approved . Will do medical with in couple of days. Thanks god..
My time line is
Application submitted - april 27
Got medical- june 2

Hello Friends


I am on PGWP with with skilled job. I want to apply for SOWP. He is an Indian citizen however staying in UAE from last 2years.
My questions are:
1. Can I apply online for his sowp within Canada? If yes how long does it takes
2. Or If we have to apply from outside Canada, how can he apply? From UAE or India?
3. What is the processing time for SOWP applied outside Canada?
