Even I had applied for SOWP on feb 5th in chennai through vfs..Currently my application is in progress in bangalore CIC..

Few days back i had asked in this group that my brother and her spouse want to apply for Open work permit & student visa, respectively. My brother's visa was refused twice once as Tourist and once as student. so we applied him under open work permit..And had asked if they should apply together or no..We have applied together...

Applied online for Student permit and Open work permit. Got medical request within 2 working days

Waiting for PPR

Timlines:
Applied on: March 24th 2015
Medical request:March 27th 2015
Open work permit fee request: March 28th 2015
medical completed: March 31st 2015

i actually agree with u...i feel more than the circumstances its actually logic that they can reject visa anytime...so what is the difference when applying together or separately..

also even if i apply separately they will know that now or later my spouse will be applying it...so no point hiding...

hello friends,

my wife and my daughter applied for open work permit and trv respectively on 17th march 2015.

we got medical request on the 18th march 2015.

the medicals were completed on 19th march 2015.

im from new delhi.

do we need to send the medical receipts from the hospital to the embassy??

the last date for us is 17th april 2015.

please guide..

Hey guys,

We applied for my wife's visa on January 8th 2015, and she did the biometrics in Ankara on January 19th and she received the confirmation letter on Jan 23rd that the application is now under process ,

In the website it says that it takes 3 months to process the application and it's been almost 2.5 months from then,

Does it mean that we already passed the phase of being rejected and it's not probable to get rejected now that it's been 2.5 months ?

@persioanguy, there is no guarantee - there are rejections that come wayy late. So it is not accepted until you receive confirmation - period.

However, i agree that a higher percentage of refusals are sent much sooner. So you have a good probability of success.
