oh ok.. I applied for both my spouse sowp and kid(5 yrs old) study permit, my kid medical status is passed in May 5th, but for my spouse no update other than Bio-metric completion

Lets all keep informed each other. So we will know when they start doing SOWP

Fine bro. I'm also in similar situation, Applied in March-30 and No update other than Bio-metric in the SOWP application. I will let know if any changes and please do the same. thanks,

Not me. But i know few people who applied in jan and feb and got visa in mid march.. i guess they were lucky!

Can any clarify how the SOWP process happens if I apply from Chennai, India. I understood that Biometric will happen in chennai Itself, but other process like eligibility review, medical check, background check, final decision, all happens in chennai Only or it will be in any other places like Delhi or Bangalore etc.,

biometric can be given at any place if not explicitly mentioned, rest will happen in assigned Visa office n can assign anywhere in the world which IRCC will allocate based on workload..u will come to know from IRCC post submission

Please let me know as well once you get any update. I have Applied in may (owp, student visa and visitor visa) for my family. Don’t know when Ircc stop extending processing time week on week.

hi thanks for the reply.

I have already submitted the SOWP and Biometric was done in Apr 1st week 2021, and after that no Updates.

Also I have applied for the Student Visa for my Kid who is 5.5 years old, I see an update from IRCC that the studen visa decision will be made on or before Aug-06-2021 for the fall semester.

is that applicable for school children also or only for college students.
