HI
Me and my husband want to migrate to canada. We were told that as I had higher education it would be better for me to apply as primary applicant and once i get my PR my husband will apply as a depedent and he wont require to do IELTS and WES documents.
My main question is, is this a good idea? and will we be able to enter canada together or will i have to go first and then takee my husband. We are very confused

The two options are,
1. Make your husband 'accompanying'. This will lower your score and you may not have enough points to get an ITA.
2. Make your husband 'non-accompanying'. This will increase your score and you may have enough points to get an ITA. But this way you will not be able to come to Canada together. You will have to sponsor your husband separately and that can take a year or so, during which you will have to live separately.

Thank you for your prompt reply
So my score total as primary applicant is coming to 475 and together its 463
Thats almost a ten point drop. This is a big call to make
